I was introcuded to the Sport of Schutzhund in 2001.  I absolutely love German Shepherd Dogs and bought my first one in 1989.  They possess good tempermants and are the well rounded working breed.  I purchased my first Sieger import  bloodline in 2002.  His name was Duece.  I initially did my own training which was basic obedience.  My dogs were from American Bloodlines and I knew they had a lot of "show quality".

In 2007, I was looking for a good dog trainer around the Memphis area.  I came across Luke Weathers and The Blues City Schutzhund Club.  I was surprised at Luke's dog training style and was also impressed at the passionate way that he trained.  You could tell right away the connection that he and his dogs have for one another.  I had seen other dog trainers and never did find what I was looking for in their training methods. 

In 2009, Luke and I crossed paths once again and I knew that he was the one for me and my dogs.  I have a new puppy now and my goal is to achieve a Schutzhund III Title.  My other hobbies include cooking, listening to music, fishing, handyman, cars, and basketball.
