We are the Baxter’s, Dan & Linda.  We live in Atoka TN and have two teenagers.  We both work in the Information Technology field.  Our protégé’s name is Dante, a male German Shepherd with working Schutzhund Lines, whom we purchased from a local breeder. 

Linda and I found the Blues City Schutzhund Club through the DVG America website.  We contacted Luke and asked could we come to one of the club’s training sessions.  We watched the club members training and were highly impressed with their training methods of positive reinforcement through either food or prey drive.  We really liked the friendliness of the club members and we knew the BCSC was a great fit for us.  Everyone is ready to help each other in assisting one another in making their dogs into the best that they can be.

This is our first high drive dog and at a glance we knew that Schutzhund is recreation that we needed to channel that attribute to full potential.  Dante looks forward to coming to training and that says it all.  We look forward to getting his BH and then moving forward to his and our first Schutzhund Title.
